Presentation to the COP21
As part of the Ile-de-France Region’s presentations at the COP 21 forum, Brigitte Philippon and Jean Kalt will present the Ponkawall at the “Business for the Climate (Entreprendre pour le climat)” fringe event:
Thursday 10 December, 9:00 to 13:30, at the Région Ile de France Innovation stand in Bourget Exhibition Centre.
A cutting edge acoustic screen with four functions:
- reducing noise
- limiting the spread of fine particles
- producing renewable energy
- interactive digital communication
Town side
The photovoltaic panels convert solar energy into electricity. They are coloured to integrate into the urban landscape.

The internet links can be continually updated by the town hall, which coordinates the participation by local stakeholders.

A bamboo trellised screen to reduce the bass frequencies of the sound waves
